Ty Nitty
DSB: Thanks for the exclusive
interview. Can introduce yourself
to our readers?
Ty Nitty: Yeah what’s up man.
This ya boy Ty Nitty AKA Tattoo
Nitty. One third of Infamous Mob
(IM3) and all dat. Double “L” Love
& Loyalty & all dat Ya Know!

DSB: Can you tell us how
Infamous Mobb was formed.
Ty Nitty: Infamous Mobb was
formed, I would say about 10, 20
years ago when we grew up
together in Queensbridge
projects, me, Twin Gambino &
Godfather Part III. We are from
the same block. 41st out of 12th
St. We were friends first before
the music. So you know Havoc
and Prodigy came up with the
name Infamous Mobb.

DSB: How did you hook up with
Mobb Deep?
Ty Nitty: Well Havoc is from my block too and umm you know Havoc, that’s my best friend and we all grew up on
the same block (41st out of 12th St). Before the music, like I said we were friends first. That’s how we hooked up.

DSB: Now that Mobb Deep has signed to G-Unit, how did this affect Infamous Mobb?
Ty Nitty: Actually, it really didn’t affect us as a group because we really wasn’t affiliated with the G-Unit project but
a lot of people had felt that Mobb Deep should have brought us along with them to make the whole mob... well you
know… the real mob… like how we came up from day one, like back in the day “Shook Ones”, “Survival of the
fittest”, and shit like that. Other than that, it didn’t affect us, because we still moving, we still active right now.

DSB: Does IM3 still work with Mobb Deep?
Ty Nitty: Ummm, to a certain extent. We still work with Prodigy like you know I guess one third of Infamous Mobb
still works with Mobb Deep.

DSB: What was the reason for the tension between Twin Gambino AKA Big Twins and the rest of Infamous Mobb?
Ty Nitty: Wow, (laughing) Wow, umm to tell you the truth, I don’t even know how you are able to ask that question.
Like, but umm I know why you asked that question cuz a lot of people were talking about it on the internet and
stuff. But you know basically everybody gets older and everybody got different intentions on doing things on their
solo projects. Twin has his own ideas, I got my own ideas G.O.D. got his own ideas and you know sometimes
everybody don’t see eye to eye. Everybody got their own decisions and everybody they own man you know.  At
the end of the day it’s Infamous though, to the graveyard, you already know. That’s my brothers!

DSB: What’s the vibe like between the two groups now?
Ty Nitty: Well right now the vibe, in the current day right now, 09 there is actually really no relationship besides the
history we got. But I don’t speak to Prodigy, I don’t speak to Havoc. I haven’t seen these dudes in a long time, so it’
s really no relationship. Far as Twin & Godfather, I don’t know when the last time they seen em.  Actually,
Godfather went to go see Prodigy up state in jail and he said Prodigy is doing good and all that.

DSB: What has been the best and worst aspect of rap?
Ty Nitty: Well the best aspect, I would say it is, we had the gift of the name “Infamous”. We the only group that can
name ourselves Infamous Mobb and get away with it because we are the click, we are the mob. We are mob deep
in a sense, we can from the same hole. We infamous to the graveyard, but at the same time it’s a curse for us too
because whatever they do, it falls on us (IM3). You know we fall under that umbrella. Bad or good, it fucks with us.

DSB: What are you currently working on?
Ty Nitty: Well right now, I just threw out “Nitty Files” Vol. 1 hosted by DJ Diggz/DJ Rated R. I’m doing a Vol 2.
coming out. I got “Tsunami” on iTunes right now. I got SNUGS by Queensbridge project coming out, original album
and all that. I got a project with me and Vinnie Thunn coming out you know what I’m saying. I got “Birth of a New
Breed”, the Infamous sound project, the Screw Ball project. You know I’m just working right now… just knocking
joints out.

DSB: What is your motivation?
Ty Nitty: My motivation is money and my kids you know what I’m saying. Making more money so I can generate it
and eventually invest. You know what I’m saying… Stocks & Bonds. Get my money rolling, and get the family
going. You know I got a lot of niggas that I gotta take care of. My uncle Judgment is doing life in jail, my cousin Oc
got 10 years, and a lot of other friends I got in there & when they come home they can be straight. My motivation
is just doing more music, staying in the studio, going hard man… 4real.

DSB: How do you feel your music has evolved from when Infamous Mobb first came out in the mid 90’s?
Ty Nitty: Well it got sharper because in the mid 90’s I wasn’t even writing my rhymes. Godfather was writing my
rhymes. He was writing me and Twin’s rhymes and then it just rubbed off on me.         Then I just started writing my
own rhymes. So now basically, I say from the 90’s those wasn’t my thoughts, those were Godfather’s thoughts. As
of now, the current time, it’s more from my mind and my brain. It’s more of Ty Nitty’s thoughts now. This is where I’
m at now and what I’m feeling. Definitely from my own brain is much better than somebody else’s brain, you know!

DSB: Have you considered branching off to Europe, like most artists are starting to do?
Ty Nitty: Oh yeah, definitely… definitely…European or anybody overseas, they fuck with us hard. Man Infamous
Mobb got love for everybody overseas. Europe, Belgium, Amsterdam, Japan, wherever you at we love yall. If it
wasn’t for yall, you know the fans out there, we wouldn’t be who we are today. Definitely got mad love for Europe
and we will definitely be out there touring. Screw Ball, Infamous Mobb, we going to be doing it big.

DSB: Where can our readers stay informed on your next moves?
Ty Nitty: Definitely check out the MySpace. MySpace is real big and I put a lot of work into the MySpace. Benny
Dunn hooked it up and all that. Definitely on the iTunes, my music is going to be heavy on there. Amazon and all
that, definitely just check out the net check out for my shit. “Tsunami” is on iTunes right now, $9.99 for downloads.
