DSB: Good looking on sitting down with us and taking some time to
give us a interview, lets start off by letting folks know who stress is.
Where did the name come from?
STRESS: Stress is a serious rapper. My name comes from the style
of rap I have. Back in the days I use to write for people and they
use to say I was real hard. At times I would be so intense that
people would say I had the weight of the world on my shoulders.
That's when they started calling me stress
DSB: How did you know that this was what you wanted to do? How
did you know rapping was it?
STRESS: I always knew I had it. I would write raps and compare
them to the radio. I would always notice that my rhymes either was
right on point or better then what i was hearing. That's when I knew I
had the true talent of an artist.

STRESS: Man, my nigga Halla, was the one that introduced me the fam. RahRah from GG heard Halla and they linked
up. Halla knew I was ready to do this so when he was invited into the studio to lay down a verse for GG he brought me
along. That day I was able to get on the song with my nigga Halla and from there I got down with them.
DSB: How is your relationship with GG?
STRESS: Aww man were a family. Since I’m not from out here these nigga's are like my fam, we eat together, go out
together cook together, man we are tight. We all get along and at the same time we argue like brothers. But at the end
of the day we still a family, Its all good, I love it.
DSB: Tell us about the new mixtape with Jelly Roll and Dj Warrior(Green On Mine).
STRESS: Its all original songs that I did with the Heatchanmbers which is Jelly Roll, and his brothers Blaqthoven and

DSB: So you say you’re not from LA. Where are you from?
STRESS: I’m from the Bay Area. I lived all over the Bay. Oakland, Berkley, man everywhere but coming out from
Sacramento.
DSB: Has the Bay influenced your music at all?
STRESS: Of course. It’s a matter of your surroundings. I have a lil bay in me. Hyphy it’s the life and sounds of the bay,
so yeah it has influenced me in many ways. The only thing is I'm different from the rappers you hear out there. My
sound is original and different.
DSB: Any last word or shout outs?
STRESS: I gots to give love to the bay. I just want to let them know that I am representing them to the fullest and I want
everyone to know that the bay is still doing it big and no matter what I sound like its still the Yay Area. Also big ups to
