STIX: Watts up world, My name is STIX a.k.a. Mr. President, a.k.
a. The CEO, a.k.a. you need me in your life and if I’m not you’ll

DSB: So, you’re coming out of WATTS, is that where you were
born and raised?
STIX: Yep, I’m born and raised in Watts, on 100thst and central
DSB: How long you been in the game?
STIX: I’ve been in the game about 6 years strong
DSB: What artist did you grow up listening to?
STIX: I grew up listening to The Rocafella crew (Jay-Z, Memphis
Bleek, Young Chris, Neef, Beanie Siegal, Freeway) Joe Buddens,
Ludacris, Fabolous, 50 Cent, that’s my generation of music.
DSB: How did they influence your music?
STIX: Each taught me different things, The Roc crew taught me
about pure bars, straight up punch line bar for style rap, Joe
Buddens taught me real rap, the things that people can relate to,
Luda taught me how to create music with intense charisma and
energy, Fab taught me about swagger and demeanor, 50 cent
taught incredible song structure, how to make a complete song,
and actually a smash,

DSB: You have a hot song out called “Top Model” that I see got a lot of hits on myspace, what brought about that song?
STIX: The song “Top Model” came about because one day I was on myspace and every page you look at that’s a female, it
says Top model chick, or top model girl or just top model, so that inspired the song, then it also helped that Tyra Banks has a
show so hopefully one day we can here that on the show
DSB: Who in the game, would you compare yourself to?
STIX: I would compare myself to Jay-z because I have his business mind, lyrical wit, swag and persona, 50 Cent because I’ve
mastered his song formula with my own and managed to score a hit every time I record, & Joe Buddens because I tend to rap
about deep and true topics on a lot of my songs. Add a little Busta Rhymes & Wyclef because I’ve taken a lot of notes from
them for my live show, so every time I touch that stage it’s electrifying.
DSB: What are your other skills and talents?
STIX: My other skills and talents are I’m a incredible songwriter (R&B, POP, & Hip-Hop) I great producer (Full Producer, beats,
vocals, arrangement) , I’m a talented host, im a good actor, a creative author and smart business man.
DSB: Do you have any albums out or coming out?

DSB: Are there any new shows are events in the making?
STIX: New shows coming up are 2nd week of March I’m doing a 1 dollar bill concert, everyone who brings a 1 dollar bill gets in
and I’m going to be selling product inside the building, and a portion of proceeds are going to go to the Boys & Girls club in
Watts, I do this event called “THE PIT” www.myspace.com/westcoastpit the biggest hip-hop battle scene on the west coast,
Glasses Malone is sponsoring a event, $5,000 to the best rapper, $2,000 to the best producer, $2,000 to the best krump
dancer, then following that were doing a tournament called “Best in the Bay” Then my Rock band is doing a middle
school/high school tour all throughout Los Angeles and the Valley. www.life9music.com
