DSB: What up Quiz! For those that don’t know can
you introduce yourself to our readers?
QUIZ: Whas good folks this is Quiz reppin Bad Ass
Blu Division aka Blu D Gang.
DSB: You started at a young age right, what made
you put your pen to the pad and start wrtting?
QUIZ: I had older cousins who were into hip hop
real heavy, one of them was actually part of a
group and I would be around while they would
freestyle and have ciphers and one day I went
home wrote a 16 came back and spit it for my
cousin and they thought it was crazy they I did it by
myself. Ever since then just kept writing then it
went from a hobby to a profession.
DSB: You are currently signed to Blu Division
right, how did you guys connect? Hows the vibe
when you guys get in the studio?
QUIZ: Connected wit Pooh which is Glasses
brother who is also my manager now but I was
living in LA running around pushing my mixtape
trying to perform wherever I could until I ran into
Pooh we chopped it up. I think at that time he
liked my initiative and grind more than my music
but just stuck around with him kept pushin and
kept developin and that was that.
QUIZ: Getting in the studio is crazy everybody in
Blu Division is talented and has their own lane. So
I listen to G and how he formats stuff, listen to
Con, Kboy and I pick up something from all those
dudes to add to my sound and still make it my
thing. All those dudes are talented though and do
what they do well. Its just crazy to be apart of a
strong team and its good cause you know you

DSB: Monsters Ink is just about to dropped right? Can you let our readers know about it? Whos featured on it?
QUIZ: Monsters Ink is a concept album. The concept is dark theme samples from scary movies beats some real
creative stuff. The sound of it is crazy everybody did they thing on it in a real way from producers to rappers to
comedians. “Hello Hello Bow Wow” lol. (you’ll get it when you hear it).
QUIZ: Features The Bloc Boyz, Conflict, Lude, Stage. G.Malone, Mykestro, Kokiane, Butch Cassidy,
QUIZ: Beats from Sega, Drop, Yellow kid, LB Fitted, that’s all I can remember off the top the projects a beast
though. We’ve been getting crazy feed back about it.
What should folks expect to hear when they pop in Monsters Ink?
Besides me doing my thing . When they pop it in expect us to go hard. Expect to hear dope ass beats with dope
ass lyrics as simple as that. Nothing gimmicky just cats bussin and giving the streets what they’ve been missing.
DSB: You just dropped “Before Taxes” that album was a banger. What else are you currently working on?
QUIZ: Currently I’m working on a EP called “Beauty and the Beast” the beats are the beauty and I’m the beast,
trying to get that out before the year is up. I got a street album just about done called “Fuck a Record Deal” that
should be dropping top of 09. More Blu Division projects in the works of course. One of our in house producers LB
Fitted and I just chopped it up about doin a EP call “Kickz and Hats” and of course me Sega and I already started
recording for “After Taxes” so 09 is finna be a busy year but we getting it in.
DSB: The year is almost over, but what should folks look out for? What is Quiz going to bless his fans with?
QUIZ: ”Beauty and The Beast” is going to be real nice to close the year with for the fans.
