DSB: What up Pretty Paige, Can you introduce
yourself to our readers?
PRETTY PAIGE: It's ya favorite pretty lady from the
West coast, IE. I'm an entertainer, blessed to be here
and able to present to the world; a phenomenal vocal
style, Lyrical character, rhythm, passion, charm, a light.
DSB: So we see that you’re a rap artist / singer /
actress. What do you consider yourself to be? Witch
do you go the hardest as?
PRETTY PAIGE: As the world turns, LOL !! Seriously, I
often find Business fluctuates in Entertainment for me.
And I do, honestly believe is apart of my journey. Ive
attracted all types of entertainment to life. One
moment it was TV and film, Then came radio, and
theater. The essence of what makes me an
entertainer. But one thing that has never fallen off was
my music, writing, singing and lyrically lace'n beats.
DSB: What made you get into this industry?
PRETTY PAIGE: I don't think I ever had a choice not
to. Being musically gifted as a child set the direction,
and it never left. Rather it manifested, became
apparent, and turned into a journey I would have
never imagined.. I learned to play the strings at a very
young age.. Never learned to read music, I use to
memorize the song , and play it by ear.. I sang my
heart out every last year i spent in school.. Became a
Thespian, performed at talent shows, oratorical
competitions. And there wasn't to much time spent in
yourself to our readers?

PRETTY PAIGE: Ive been active in the arts all my life..and the number of years cant hardly express where Ive been.. it his
records. I did my first mix tape called "The Libra" in 2004. Starting co hosting "The No Name Show" on XRADIO. Hooked
up with a local indie label to form the group "Diamonds N the Ruff", In which I contributed my lyrical and vocal style to
group and the original "Diamonds N the Ruff" album sampler...And that's real brief. Here I am now working as a "SOLO
ARTIST", I have a strong and sensible management team, Thanks to DJ Swindle and all the family. I'm in production in my
next jump off, Gotta cool buzzing lil single called "CashN Checks" Ft 40 Glocc.
DSB: Being a female artist do you feel its harder to get in this industry because you are a female?
PRETTY PAIGE: If your a female in the game and you think that way then, yes It will be harder for you because you
already have that embedded in your thought process. It's a negative energy your putting out there so not only have you
accepted that as your reality , but you ultimately expect it too. Me on the other hand, I'm the IE super woman, there's
nothing I cant do!!!! Everything I do, I do it well. I'm up on my game and I know how to play it.
DSB: What are you currently working on?
PRETTY PAIGE: Working on the mix tape for summer time 08. I'm looking forward to working with BEATOLOGY, T-WHY,
Terrace Martin, Dirty Birdy, Jelly Roll, and many more. I'm Collaborating with great writers; such as Samuel Christian
courtesy of Cherry Lane Publishing group. Ive been listening to a lot of music. Taking myself back to why I fell in love in
the first place. Writing ballads, that brought me to tears, If I can feel it, so can anyone else. So, There will be heart
warming ballads, uptempo club bangers, Of course some west coast funk. The mix tape is scheduled to drop this summer
2008. But I'll start leaking something for yawl to bring the summer in with around April. I do believe it'll be "Brilliant" when it
drops. Until then, I'll continue to work hard, stay polished , and in shape. I'm focused !!! I got my eye's on the prize.
DSB: Whats going on with the acting? Anything we should keep an eye out for?
PRETTY PAIGE: Actually it's been pretty slow with the writers strike.. It's really all about reality TV.. I'm involved with on
online casting site. I just recently auditioned for a TV Hosting position for younghollywood.com. Currently, I'm involved with
an on line audition for "Americas got talent" Please continue to vote for me.. I'm holding down the #1 spot , and duking it

PRETTY PAIGE: I'm a full time Mom & wife. I also attend school for massage therapy. There doesn't seem to be enough
hours in the day. But I always work it out.
