DSB: Its great being able to meet with you again Khao, how are you?
KHAO: What's good Reezy.. I'm good and yourself?

DSB: A lot has changed since the first time you sat down with Dastreetbuzz, you just released  “The
Commencement” can you tell us some more about that?
KHAO: More about The Commecement, what can I say, I put blood sweat and tears into this project. It came at a
very pivotal point in my life. It means a lot to me.

DSB: On the track “Black President” you speak on the mind state of the Hip Hop Industry, as an artist, how do
you manage to stay relevant to your audience?
KHAO: Well to stay relevant you have to stay with the changing times. I always keep my ears open to receive all
pertinent info about what's going on in this world. I keep hip-hop in touch with life.

DSB: This has to be one of your most personal projects to date, what made you open up more of who you are to
your fans?
KHAO: I felt it was time to let the fans in, they know I can spit, but do they know me the everyday man behind the
music. It's just time I give the world my story not just my talents.

DSB: What upcoming projects should we keep a lookout for in 2011?
KHAO: My team and I have some stuff in the works I'll just throw the world album out there for 2012. look out for
shows and video shoots we are always moving.

DSB: Once again, Its been a pleasure meeting with you again, any last words or shout outs?
KHAO: Life. Love. Hip-Hop

Compton, Ca native Khao, has dropped his highly anticipated street album 'The Commencement" and has
accumulated more than 16,000 downloads.  Rapping since the age of 12, and finally realizing in 2004 that he
would pursue his passion for music as a career, he's been a focused, determined, and unstoppable force.
Continuously perfecting his craft, and with tracks like "Paid my Dues","Black President" and "Sparta" feat Black
Hippy's own Ab-Soul, it is undeniable that Khao is the new face of the West. "The Commencement" is full of
hunger, rawness, lyrical talent and love for hip hop and is most definitely one of the top projects of 2011.
