DSB: What up! Thanks for blessing us with this
interview. Can you let our readers know who Epic is?
EPIC: Yeah. Epic is a young hungry emcee from the
I.E.,Cali. I been writing rhymes since I was 12 and now at
19 I'm still at it and also the CEO of my own company
called Stereotype Music Group. I been a solo artist for a
year now so im still a rookie to the game. I ain't really
one of those cats who come out like 'my music is the shit
and yada yada yada' I let my music and my resume
speak for its self. I was recently in Hip Hop Weekly as
unsigned hype, Ive performed for over 10,000 fans, I

DSB: So you started at a young age, what made you or pushed you to jump in the music industry?
EPIC: This wasn't a overnight decision or nuthin like that, I always knew I wanted to be in the industry since I was at least
five. I used to see Kris Kross wit they clothes on backwards so id run in the bathroom switch my outfit backwards and run
back in the room with the remote in my hand actin like i was the 3rd member of the group lol. Then as i got older id say my
biggest infulence was Mase. Mase is the one who really made me feel like i can do this rap thing cause he had so much
swag and made it look so easy. He use to get on the tv screen and just shit on other rappers in my eye. So yeah those are
two of the major reasons im in the industry. Other then that, I love bein on stage and writing music. I couldnt see myself doin
anything else but music right now.

DSB: Let us know a little about ' Sterotype Music Group. Who do you currently have signed?
EPIC: I actually just got all me leagalized business paperwork done about a week ago so theres nobody really signed to the
lable yet but I do plan on signing a couple artist and building a team similar to what Luda did with DTP.

DSB: Being so young, is it hard to manage your own company?
EPIC: Hell yeah lol. Man its hard work but its nothing I cant handle. I always knew I wanted to own and run my own business
since I was a kid but I never knew it would happen so quick.

DSB: So what's up with the nex project? Is it going to be another one of the bangin mix tapes or should we expect a album
to drop?
EPIC: Yeah the next project is definatly gonna be another bangin mixtape called "The Calm Before The Storm". We just
wrapped up production on it and it'll be out real soon! I got my boy Dj Raze One mixing the whole joint. Also got ya boy Dj Ill
Will hosting it along with another well know Dj who I'm gonna leave a surprise so stay tuned!

DSB: What should we expect from that mixtape?
EPIC: You gotta expect nothin but the best of me. I go 100% whenever I do anything. But music wise you can expect a few
original tracks with production from my boy TMG who's a monster in the production game! Also expect some guest features
on it, I got my boys from the I.E Sly Boogy and Krusafix on there also got a few other guest appearances. And of course I
went back in time and ripped some old industry beats wit freestyles so yeah you can expect nothin but heat!

DSB: So you took an award home for 'Best HipHop' at the 4th Annual IE Awards. How was that experience?
EPIC: Yeah that whole experience was incredible. It just goes to show that hard work really pays off because I worked my
ass off the whole year of 2007. I did at least 30 shows in that year alone, dropped my first mixtape called Rude Awakening,
did a 3 month tour, and grinded nonstop so that was an honor to be recognized as the Best HipHop Artist in the I.E.

DSB: So other then your music and your company, do you have any projects that we should look out for?
EPIC: Yeah just look for me on other peoples shit lol. I been gettin my colab on like crazy, alotta cats been sendin me tracks
to spit on from all over the county so im everywhere!

DSB: Where can our readers get more info on you?
EPIC: Check me out myspace of course. www.myspace.com/epicthefuture. If anybodys tryna get a colab, interview, etc hit
my email up at epic_music@hotmail.com

DSB: Good looking on the interview, any last words you would like to leave our readers with?
EPIC: Support your local artists! I cant stress that enough. I feel like thats the problem with the west coast right now. Its too
many cats with big egos who let that get in the way of coming together and attackin the rap game as a whole. For example if
you go to a club in ATL or Miami you gon see 10 well know famous emcess all chillin poppin bottles havin a good time for
the simple fact that they know how to move as a unit. If 10 rap cats from LA were all in a club its gon be some shit poppin off
on numerous occasions. All im sayin is lets unite and put this west coast shit back on the map!
