Dj Ill Will
ILL WILL: I have been doing music my whole life but as far as BEING
IN the industry probably only a few years now. I have been blessed
to go so far in the short period of time I have been doing this.

DSB: Can you give us a brief history of DJ ILL WILL?
ILL WILL: I am originally from the Midwest. (South Bend, Indiana) - I
was heavily influenced by regional artists at the time such as Twista,
Psycho Drama, Do or Die, as well as icons such as Tupac and Biggie
of course.  I moved out to LA after college in 2004 and kinda turned
a hobby of music into a profession. I have to give a big thanks to my
man BIAS - who really put me on to alot of my connects when I first
got to Cali.  He was fresh off the MTV Rocafella Battle show and had
been grindin for a minute in LA so he pretty much introduced me to
all the right people and I got it poppin from there!

DSB: Are you currently working on a MIXTAPE?
ILL WILL: Actually I just finished my newest mixtape "Rap or Die Vol.
4" today - I did that one with my partner DJ Rampage and Dubcnn.
ROD4 is hosted by Juice - The Game's artist outa Black Wallstreet.

DSB: Any features or productions?
ILL WILL: The features include Juice, The Game, Hot Dollar,
Roccett, Bangloose, Spider Loc, Glasses Malone, Ya Boy, Crooked I,
Mistah FAB, Too Short, E-40, Dubb, BIAS, man pretty much all the
hot West Coast artists out right now!!
There's beats and production from Fingaz, Dem Jointz, Dae One, Rambo, Nalo, Antidote - in addition to various other
hot producers!!

DSB: What can we expect to hear from this MIXTAPE?
ILL WILL: You can expect to hear the hottest music cominG out the Westcoast!! My Rap or Die series is made for the
streets so you can expect to hear some gangsta shit - but good music that can be enjoyed by the masses as well!! You
can expect to hear big name artists like The Game, Snoop Dogg, Crooked I, Spider Loc, Hot Dollar, Roccett, G Malone,
etc as well as lesser known artists from the streets of LA that got a hot song

DSB: Before this project what did you have your hands in?
ILL WILL: Well last year I released 10 mixtapes so I guess its always one project to the next - just trying to make sure
that I am only picking the right projects to affiliate myself with.  My most recent tape before Rap or Die 4 was the Hot
Dollar mixtape "100 Laws of Power" that I did with DJ Skee & DJ Scream from Atlanta. That mixtape is fire if you haven't
got a chance to hear it I suggest you do!!

DSB: Who are you currently signed too?
ILL WILL: I am currently a free agent as far as labels but I am part of a Rap crew "Dollar Figga" that includes Hot Dollar,
Guerilla Black and several other LA Rappers and I am a part of Erratic Entertainment which is a company that is an all
stops industry connection company that offers Production, Graphics, Promotion and mixtape hosting/mixing packages.
We got 5 hot Producers on our team so come holler at us if you need beats!!

DSB: How did you hook up with "Dolla Figga"?
ILL WILL:  I reached out to Hot Dollar to get a feature on my first mixtape "Rap or Die 1" and we clicked and started
fucking with each other heavy, his brother Guerilla Black saw how tight we were and asked me if I wanted to be a part of
the camp.

DSB: How is it working with the camp?
ILL WILL: Its dope, I really believe in their movement - they got a lot of hot artists on their roster from Hot Dollar, Guerilla
Black, Ackrite the Butcher, California Cush to Da Rilla, Don Don da Prince, Young B, Briccs...man they got so many
young hot artists!! Its just a blessing to be a part of a hot camp like that. I see the vision of the future of Dollar Figga -
like a more gangsta Dipset of the Westcoast no offense to Dipset of course.

DSB: Well thanks for taking the time, Any last word you would like leave our listeners with?
IL WILL: Support the Westcoast!! Get familiar with the artists that rep your city...oh yeah & hit me on my myspace page
