Brooklyn, NY
DSB: Who is B.A.?
B.A: A Hustler, straight out of Brooklyn, New York. Raised
in two housing projects, Marlboro and Marcy. respectful
and respected. Knows how it feels 2 have and not have.
I'm very appreciative, honest and
willing to help those who are willing to help themselves!
DSB: Being from Brooklyn, what type of challenges did you

B.A: Fighting everyday, being hungry and not having any money so we call up the chinese resturant and order
some food. When they deliver the food, we rob they ass, eat the food and split the chump change! Going to war
with the OG's because we got our own work we don't wanna hustle for them anymore. All type of shit, just listen 2
my music!!!
DSB: What are some of the things you regret about growing up in Brooklyn?
B.A: I don't regret shit about growing up in Brooklyn. All the negative shit that goes on in Brooklyn just made me
stronger!
DSB: I know you never wanted to rap. What changed your mind about the game?
B.A: It's not that I never wanted to rap. I always wanted to rap but it's the bullshit you gotta go threw to get in the
game. And then seeing these whack rappers with no swag getting in the door. I'm looking at my T.V. like, what
the fuck who the fuck is this? Sometimes that just make me wanna say fuck it. Because it's seem like they'll never
understand but I'm not the type to give up. I feel if I give up, I'll never know so I just go harder.
DSB: Unlike some aspiring artists you already live the life of glamour and wealth. Why get into rap?
B.A: Regardless of the glamuor and wealth, this is one goal in my life that I plan to achieve in. I been aspired since
I was a kid watching Video Music Box. Music always has and will be my passion.
DSB: What are you currently working on?
B.A: Right now I'm working on my album, my documentary and new mixtape coming out summer 2009.
DSB: Where do you see yourself in 5 Years?
B.A: Who knows. Ain't shit promised!
DSB: Do you feel like you can help hip hop or do you feel hip hop is perfect the way it is now?
B.A: Yes, I feel I can help hip hop. Hip hop is kind of dry right now. It's not about your talent anymore. It's about who
you know! The niggaz they letting in the game is full of shit. Never moved a brick in their
life. But on a beat, these motherfuckers tell some good ass stories! I almost believe them like I said, ALMOST.
DSB: What would YOU like to do to change the game and help out the Hip Hop community?
B.A: I'm not trying to change the game, I just trying to get my story heard. I want to put my hood on. My community
is the streets! Until hip hop does something for me, that wouldn't change!
DSB: Any last words?
B.A: Look out 4 my new single, "My Money" Produced by Charles Hamilton. It's time for a change like Barack said!
